Responsibilities

• Learn to safely and efficiently operate various pieces of converting equipment.

• Effectively learn and apply established quality control procedures.

• Execute position responsibilities as they pertain to the assigned work center.

• Read and follow order specification documents.

• Consistently work to develop or enhance skill set.

• Collaborate with co-workers to achieve company goals and expectations.

• Follow all company rules and policies.

• Work successfully in multiple areas of the converting plant and perform to expectations.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and write English.

• Mechanically inclined and able to learn new skills within a standard timeline.

• Comfortable around heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to perform mentally and physically at a high pace with a sense of urgency.

• Basic math knowledge and ability to read a tape measure.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work overtime.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• Must pass drug screen and physical abilities test.

Work Environment

Work in a very large facility that can get hot in summer and cold in winter. The day shift runs Monday to Thursday with occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays. The facility includes advanced machinery such as 112" Multiflute Corrugator, 62" Single Face Laminator, Rotary Die Cutters, Flexo Folder Gluers, Platten Diecutters, and Specialty Folder Gluers. Employees must be physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs. and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Renton, Washington.

The pay range for this position is $24.30 - $24.30
