SOS International LLC Arabic All-Source Analyst in Reston, Virginia

Overview

SOSi is seeking a Senior level All-Source Analyst (Arabic) to provide support on foreign Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) in support of U.S. counterproliferation efforts.

Essential Job Duties

  • Provide support for the WMD Counter Analysis, Chemical, and Biological Warfare Program

  • Prepare Nuclear Weapons Program Analysis along with Characterization & Vulnerability Assessment

  • Develop innovative analytic and collection concepts across directorate mission areas

  • Support assessment of new technologies techniques, methods, conduct multi-Intelligence integration, and plan programming budgeting

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

  • Three years of experience or a total of 7 years in lieu of a degree with at least a portion of the experience within the last two years

  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI and must be able to obtain CI Poly

  • Arabic language proficiency at the DLPT 3 level with the ability to read and analyze technical documents, grey literature, and academic journals

  • Proficient in conducting all-source analysis of foreign defense industrial programs,infrastructure, and capabilities supporting a foreign country’s ability to develop, equip,sustain, and employ its military forces across basic, strategic, and military industrial sectors

  • Experience assessing the research, development, acquisition, test, evaluation andproduction of foreign weapon systems and equipment; their associated facilities and output levels, knowledge of emerging and enabling technologies; and supporting industrial supply networks from raw materials to finished weapon systems

  • Experience conducting analysis including but is not limited to overall industrial organization, production processes, industrial control systems, design and surge capacities, cooperative arrangements with foreign defense industries and reliance on foreign technologies

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the related field activities requiredto meet mission requirements

  • Mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursuedevelopments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology

  • Ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches thatenable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks

  • Experience with analyzing analytic operations and knowledge management issuesacross organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.

  • Capability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.
