Purpose
Division Leader will be responsible for guiding the Company’s strategic vision and overseeing its implementation. Partners with Vice Chairman to communicate with shareholders and Board members about their expectations, setting and tracking goals for sales, growth, and key operations. Effectively leads team in accordance with the Company’s mission and values.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
Ensures effective planning and execution of the Company’s strategic plan.
Partners with the Vice Chairman, other members of the Senior Leadership Team, and the Board to develop and refine the strategic plan.
Prepares annual business plans, goals, and budgets.
Performance & Accountability
Analyzes key performance indicators, financial statements, and sales reports.
Ensures team members are held accountable for their commitments.
Contractual & Agreements Oversight
- Negotiates and approves agreements and contracts.
Personnel & Executive Management
- Appoints key positions and department executives.
Financial & Cost Management
Reviews areas to cut or manage costs.
Aims to improve programs, performance, and policies.
Compliance & Ethics
Enforces adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies.
Maintains the Company’s legality and business ethics.
Stakeholder & Shareholder Relations
Builds trusted relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
Acts as a point of contact for important shareholders
Organizational Leadership & Employee Development
Promotes the Company’s mission and growth objectives.
Ensures a positive work environment through effective leadership.
Focuses on hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, and developing employees.
Provides constructive and timely performance feedback.
Adheres to Company policies and procedures.
Ensures timely two-way communication.

Qualifications
Ten or more (10+) years of executive-level experience in a Sales, Marketing, Operations, or related leadership role in the geospatial or aviation industry.
B.S. or B.A. in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience as the President or Chief Executive Officer of a small to mid-sized company preferred.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Strong analytic, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Able to develop relationships across all levels of employees and clients.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and negotiation.
Adaptability to changing schedules and priorities based on client needs.
Working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics.
Demonstrate ability and proven track record in strategy-building and implementation preferred.
Experience working with a remote workforce preferred.
Physical Demands and Working Environment
Visual acuity - able to sit and focus on a computer monitor for long periods of time.
Manual dexterity as needed to use accepted tools of management, i.e., computers, computer monitors, mouse, keyboard.
Able to speak and hear clearly to exchange accurate information with customers, employees, Board members, and related business professionals.
