ICF Managing Consultant, Airport Commercial Planning - Remote in Reston, Virginia

Description

ICF seeks an experienced professional to serve as a Managing Consultant, Airport Commercial Planning. This position is 100% Remote in the United States.

How often have you walked around an airport and thought about all the ways the passenger experience could be improved? Are you skilled in the area of financial analysis while also seeking outlets for creativity? If the answer is yes and you want to see your advice and analysis put into practice, you should join our aviation industry leading airport concessions planning team. Together we will help airport commercial and finance teams as well as airport architectural firms develop solutions to maximize revenue and the passenger experience on current, redeveloped or new airports.

Responsibilities

• Act as the day-to-day point of contact with Clients and build long-term trusted relationships.

• Manage consulting teams and ensure timely delivery of solutions on client-based projects.

• Develop project budgets, scopes of work and manage risk throughout the project lifecycle.

• Manage the development of reports and presentations to synthesize and explain analyses.

• Financial modeling of sales, revenue, space and other commercial datapoints to support the development of airport commercial sales and revenue forecasts.

• Cultivate a high performing and inclusive team, mentoring and training junior staff.

• Support business development initiatives by building a network of client relationships, working on proposals, attending conferences, and contributing to ICF’s thought leadership.

• Explore new Commercial planning concepts, tools, and techniques, ensuring ICF remains a leader in the industry.

• Build and maintain a culture of collaboration, both within Aviation and across ICF.

Must Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with courses in finance, business, economics, statistics, accounting or data analytics beneficial.

• 6+ years’ experience in the airport concession industry or aviation retail industry in planning. (not scheduling employees)

• 6+ years’ experience managing projects or initiatives, creating structured workflows; examples will be required.

• Able and willing to travel for work as necessary.

• Strong analytical aptitude and working knowledge of analytical or quantitative methods.

• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written English communication skills.

• Identifies opportunities and manages from business development to project inception.

• Takes direction from senior leadership and then implements independently.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word & Excel).

Preferred Skills: (may set candidates apart)

• Knowledge of other analytical and data visualization tools a plus (PowerBI, Python, SQL).

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$92,986.00 - $158,076.00
