Purpose
Leading the financial accounting function and actively collaborating with all business leaders in the day-to-day execution of business plans to achieve near term business goals as well as the long-term strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Direction
Provide oversight of and direction to the Financial Accounting Department per attached organizational chart.
Ensure that appropriate controls and systems are in place to provide for regular monitoring and accurate reporting of financial results.
Facilitate positive relationships with customers, external service providers, vendors and constituents.
At the Operational and Company Level
Implement a collaborative financial accounting strategy that emphasizes accuracy and timeliness of results.
Interface and provide relevant financial information to leaders of each division and top management.
Timely prepare financial statements in accordance with US and other GAAP that meet all Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) requirements.
Manage annual financial statement audits and quarterly reviews with the external auditor.
Develop and oversee strategic tax strategies.
Manage the implementation and execution of on-going Sarbanes-Oxley controls and audits.
Do the Work
Perform day to day management of Financial Accounting, Tax and Compliance departments.
Provide oversight and management of the invoicing, collection and cash management functions.
Provide oversight for the annual financial audit and tax package with external auditors and tax accountants.

Qualifications
Fifteen (15) years of related public accounting experience, at least five (5) years at a Financial Executive level with a public company.
Extensive experience with Audit Committee interface and reporting.
Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance with a CPA.
Demonstrated experience in financial accounting and the ability to effectively synthesize and communicate operating and performance results to constituencies both internally and externally.
Proven experience in financial reporting, GAAP rules and procedures and related accounting functions.
A proven track record of innovation, leadership, and creativity.
Ability to collaborate and facilitate agreement.
Physical Demands and Working Environment
Primarily indoor professional office environment which may include bright/dim light, noise, fumes, odors, and traffic.
Mobility around an office environment.
Frequent and prolonged use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Occasional lifting or carrying up to 20 pounds.
Occasional pushing or pulling up to 20 pounds.
Occasional reaching outward or above shoulder.
