We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio. As a crucial part of our team, your role will primarily involve managing customer relations, keeping meticulous records, and handling various logistical tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and promptly process customer applications for credit

• Ensure customer credit records are always up-to-date and precise

• Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when needed

• Schedule deliveries by providing carrier DOT slips with required information when containers are nearing arrival

• Coordinate with multiple departments and external partners by supplying receiving documents

• Support warehouse operations by providing pick-sheets for items to be shipped

• Assist the shipping department by supplying Sales orders for invoicing post shipping

• Send Delivery orders to steamship lines when containers are securely onboard the vessel

• Create Sales orders based on purchase orders received from aftermarket customers

• Execute additional duties as needed within the scope of the role.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Customer Service Representative or in a similar role.

• Proficient in handling and answering inbound calls.

• Experience in a call center customer service environment is essential.

• Strong customer service skills and ability to handle customer queries efficiently.

• Proficient in data entry tasks.

• Experience in email correspondence and managing customer communications.

• Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Experience in order entry and processing.

• Ability to schedule appointments efficiently.

• Understanding of logistics and ability to manage logistical tasks.

• Experience in logistics & distribution required.

• Knowledge of supply chain logistics is advantageous.
