RTX is seeking qualified individual for a Proposal Coordination role within the Optics Consolidated Manufacturing Center (OCMC) in Richardson, TX. The Richardson OCMC is composed of several work centers with a charter to be the premier optics and optical assembly manufacturer for Raytheon.

The Office of Consolidated Manufacturing Center Proposal Coordinator will support OCMC’s strategy by receiving, coordinating, and ensuring all proposals and proposal inputs are delivered in a timely manner. Your will be responsible for ensuring that all factory proposals are well-constructed, completed within the established timeline, compliant in all the necessary requirements, and have been approved by factory leadership. You will need strong communication skills and must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

This position requires clear and effective communication skills as you will be required to provide frequent briefings and reporting pertaining to proposal completion. You must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives in a demanding environment. You will be required to work with all levels of management and be expected to promote Raytheon’s keys values, while facilitating problem resolution through application of our CORE processes and techniques.

What You Will Do

  • Log all incoming requests and ensure assigned to the appropriate leader.

  • Assist the proposal leader with execution of internal responsibilities

  • Monitor and track proposal activities providing status of all proposals in work

  • Work closely with OCMC leadership to remove barriers to successful proposal completions.

  • Analyze metrics to identify and take corrective action on unfavorable trends.

  • Assist the proposal leader in coordinating activities across the factory, and collaborate with Program Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Contracts, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a BS / BA from an accredited university with a major in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field

  • Less than 2 years of experience in manufacturing operations or supporting function

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract."

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Motivated and takes on challenges with minimal direction, with the ability to be proactive and drive action accordingly

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point)

  • U.S. Citizenship is required as the position will require the ability to access US only data systems

  • SAP/PRISM knowledge and experience

  • EVMS Certification

  • Ability to set and work towards goals at a “big picture” level, and influence change at a detailed operational level

  • Ability to understand complex systems and processes

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Operations, Business, Supply Chain Management or related field

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
