The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior-Level Mission Systems Engineer with experience in the integration, qualification and certification of mission system equipment.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role as a member of the Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers engineering team located in Richardson, Texas.
The position will be an integral member of our MS&B portfolio of programs to ensure they meet all operational requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead the integration of mission system equipment into various platforms, ensuring compatibility and performance
Develop and execute qualification and certification plans for mission systems, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and systems engineering, to ensure seamless integration of mission systems.
Conduct system-level testing and validation to verify that mission systems meet performance specifications and operational requirements.
Analyze and resolve technical issues related to mission systems, providing innovative solutions to complex problems.
Prepare and present technical documentation, including test plans, reports, and certification documentation.
Support the development of system requirements and specifications for mission systems.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
7 or more years of experience in mission systems engineering, with a focus on integration, qualification, and certification.
Strong understanding of mission system architectures and components
Experience with leading a team of engineers with diverse experience and background
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):
Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and certification processes (e.g., MIL-STD, DO-178C)
Working knowledge in System Engineering tools such as DOORs, JAMA, CAMEO
Working knowledge of qualification testing requirements mission system equipment
Experience with working with suppliers
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. The selected candidate will need to be located in the surrounding area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary Pay Range: $128,350 – $173,650
