Honeywell Sr. Advanced Manufacturing Engineer in Richardson, Texas
As a Sr. Advanced Manufacturing Engineer here at Honeywell Industrial Automation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize production processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Drive critical decisions in deployment of production processes & technologies that are standardized among different manufacturing facilities.
• Deploy new production equipment or improve performance from current equipment. Considering automation and digitalization for new or upgrade equipment.
• Responsible for qualification and release products into production
• Responsible for defining, quoting, installing, validating and releasing manufacturing equipment into production,
• Support in the planning and execution of project plans and design reviews; involvement in production release of modified or new product documentation
• Develop processes and procedures to achieve critical quality certifications
• Support the manufacturing of complex parts and sub-assemblies by providing technical expertise and support for the factory
• Review manufacturing processes to ensure they will yield parts compliant with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Create and participate in PFMEA creation, Work Instruction Deployment, Preventive Maintenance Programs, Time study for line balance and Control Plan Deployment
MUST HAVE:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Mechanical, Electric, Electronic Degree, or Mechatronic
• 5+ years combined of Manufacturing Engineering experience with low mix/ high volume or High mix/low volume type of processes
• Travel 50% travel required – Domestic
WE VALUE:
• Production / process experience and improvement of operation metrics such as Yield, Uptime , Cycle time, Line balancing, OEE
• Six Sigma Green / Black Belt or Lean Expert Certification
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Experience with project management and Kaizen facilitation. (TPS is a plus)
• Ability to interface effectively with all levels of leadership.
• Proven problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret business performance and financial data, define actions, and implement solutions. Significant knowledge of the field's standards and specifications
• Able to read technical drawings and documentation (Mechanical, Electrical & Pneumatics)
• Knowledge of using Six sigma/quality Tools and APQP (PFMEA, Control plan, SPC MSA, ISO-9002, IATF-16949, etc.)
• Vision System integration, PLC Programming, CAD, 6-Axis or Scara robotics is a plus
• Ability to focus on important information and identify key details
• Capability of following guidelines and ensuring efficiency on tasks
• Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize manufacturing processes
• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
• Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done
