Honeywell Sr Channel Sales Representative in Richardson, Texas

The Sr Channel Sales Representative is a key role in the organization that provides strategic corporate support for assigned authorized distributor (AD) relationships, resulting in mutually profitable growth. You will drive the corporate ADs to deploy a significant share of resources in support of the sale of Honeywell products while working with them to improve their business processes, overall effectiveness, planning and results and holds our Representatives accountable to using Honeywell processes to drive the regional AD branches to deliver the results. In addition to driving the ADs, the incumbent will mentor others in the organization that can leverage their leadership and processes in other accounts. This position reports to the Director, Global Distribution. This position requires a highly motivated, self-confident individual of the highest integrity who possesses a wide range of knowledge, skills, and abilities.

This person will work with our distributors in Richardson TX and Little Rock AR and can be located in one of these locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet/exceed revenue Point of Purchase (POP) and Point of Sale (POS) plan for assigned ADs (AD Corporate support role)

  • Provide support and direction to RDM to support AD branch revenue plan within assigned territory, including development and enforcement of strategies to close gaps at strategic branches

  • Drive RDM to develop a Mutual Action Plan (MAP) to document annual AD objectives, ADNBO’s and regularly review progress against agreed goals

  • Support the key AD branch relationships

  • Facilitate major market and/or strategic AD locations business reviews

  • Ensure consistent RDM implementation of Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process

  • Mentor RDMs with issue resolution process and provide escalation path as necessary

  • Support the Global Distribution Director with the development of the top line AD plan through the development AD Corp POP and POS annual plan for assigned ADs

  • Support the Global Distribution Director in the development and implementation of AD policy

  • Responsible for ensuring AD Corp relationship with AD Executives and marketing management, including the development and accountability of the Corporate Growth/Engagement Strategy

  • Facilitate AD Corp QBR’s

  • Monitor and ensure product training and systems with AD Corp personnel

  • Analyze and ensure proper inventory mix and levels needed to support POS plan

  • Coordinate new product introduction

  • Support the Global Distribution Director with continued development of the Design Registration Program

  • Monitor ADs Order Management practices and HW Service Level’s taking corrective action to maximize operational efficiency

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 8 years of distribution/channel management experience

  • Experience in electronics or electronic components sales
