You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in an engineering role for at least 3 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology. Experience working with engineering workstation computers and LINUX and/or UNIX operating environments Computer model development and application (e.g. SERPENT, MCNP, SCALE, CASMO, SIMULATE or other nuclear industry analysis code). Computer programming/software capabilities and experience in FORTRAN, C/C++, and/or PYTHON. As an Early Career BWR/PWR Core Design and Reload Licensing Engineer in Richland, Washington you will be part of the proven team in the Core Design Business Line in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include working as a part of a team that includes engineers from other departments and Codes and Methods development engineers as well as Project Managers responsible for different BWR fuel reload customers, assisting with core designs for BWR/PWR reload projects, reload licensing activities, and developing economic core designs and continuous improvement automation and optimization tools.
