As an Inventory and Measurement System Analyst in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Nuclear Material Control and Accounting team that supports the nuclear fuel fabrication plant in the Fuel Business Unit. The Material Control and Accounting team within the EHS&L (Environmental Health Safety and Licensing) department is responsible for all aspects of nuclear material inventory tracking, measurement system monitoring, shipment and receipt reporting, and control of total inventory accuracy. Your work will include: Responsible for assigned MC&A efforts within the U.S. including both day-to-day operations and planned facility expansions. Perform nuclear material inventory audits and lead an annual physical inventory of all material. Perform sampling studies to estimate nuclear material concentration variances. Calculate inventory uncertainty based on inventory transactions, measurement systems used, and measurement uncertainties. Track and report nuclear material receipts and shipments and perform Shipper Receiver Difference evaluations of nuclear material receipts. Administer the facility's nuclear inventory database and coordinate software improvements. Write and maintain facility procedures that implement MC&A requirements.
