ManpowerGroup Mechanical Engineer in Richland, Washington

Our client, a leading Engineering and Construction company delivering world-changing projects, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer NS&E to join their team.

As a key member of the Engineering Department supporting the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant (WTP) project, you'll play a vital role in designing a first-of-its-kind facility for nuclear waste treatment. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Richland, WA

Pay Range: $ 30-35/hr

What’s the Job?

  • Design fluid and gas systems for the WTP's process facilities.

  • Prepare technical reports, studies, and design documents.

  • Perform calculations using engineering software and specify complex mechanical equipment.

  • Collaborate effectively with other engineering disciplines and the client.

  • Ensure designs meet all applicable safety and regulatory requirements.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to process systems.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, or Chemical Engineering.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in process system design.

  • Experience with Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs), fluid system design, and equipment specification.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • US Citizenship Required.
