Bay Area Community Resources Expanded Learning Program Instructor (King Elementary) in Richmond, California
We are seeking committed and passionate Expanded Learning Program Instructors to lead academic, physical, and enrichment activities as part of our East Bay Expanded Learning Programs. As a Program Instructor you will lead and mentor up to 20 youth in an afterschool setting. Benefits:
Pay rate: $21 per hour
Hours: 24 hours per week
Paid BACR holidays
Schedule: Monday through Friday, afternoons until 6 p.m.; Off holidays, summers, and weekends

Minimum Requirements
Must have an (a) Associate Degree or higher, or (b) 48 or more college units, or (c) High School Diploma or GED and pass Instructional Aide exam
Must pass criminal background check and TB test clearance
Available Monday through Friday 24 hours per week, afternoons until 6 pm
Work Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 2pm-6pm/ Wednesdays 1pm-6pm
Ability to reliably commute to El Cerrito
Commitment to social justice and leadership
Passionate about learning and youth development: K-12
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Preferred:
- Commitment to a full school year, able to practice open, clear and consistent communication, commitment to participate in professional development
Responsibilities:
Support and maintain a safe and emotionally supportive environment
Create, plan, and execute lesson plans that support school day learning
Collaborate with youth to support their learning and development (youth-driven curriculum)
