Job Description
General Purpose
Perform administrative activities to maintain proper support and services to the operation of the maintenance department.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Work with equipment manufacturers and maintenance staff on set up of preventive maintenance tasks and spare parts inventory for supported equipment
Coordinate, track, and maintain all work orders
Close corrective and preventive maintenance work orders upon completion and include pertinent information for equipment files
Maintain up-to-date library of machine manuals, prints, and schematics
Data enter procurement and inventory records by appropriate category (e.g., account, cost center, project)
Print and/or provide corrective work orders, preventive maintenance work orders, and parts automatic orders on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis
Generate a variety of reports for management (e.g., back-order, inventory, productivity reports)
Assist in ordering and receiving of maintenance related parts and materials; process purchase orders
Track maintenance spending
Assist in the coordination of incoming contractors
Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Requirements
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
1 to 3 years clerical, production, or general work experience
Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems
Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail
Able to perform task and duties without constant supervision
Able to multi-task
Able to take appropriate steps to find solutions to problems
Able to work effectively in a team environment
Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Must be able to read, write and speak English
