Our Assisted Living Community in Northern Macomb County is looking for a cook to prepare meals in compliance with dietary standards of up to 20 residents.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist Manager in planning well balanced and nutritious menus for the residents, including themed holiday meals and for special events.
• Safely prepare and serve meals to residents within scheduled meal times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as clean up after each meal.
• Demonstrate good communication with co-workers, Manager, and able to work well with caregivers and interact positively with residents.

Requirements:

• Serv Safe Certification preferred.
• 6 months - 1 year experience preferred.
• Minimum high school diloma or GED equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 16 -- 24 per week
