Job Description:

This job is responsible for performing more complex analysis and modeling to minimize loss exposure and negative impacts to the customer experience. Key responsibilities include utilizing a variety of systems such as Excel, SAS, SQL, Tableau, and other relational data bases to provide analytical support on strategies, ensure goals are met, and propose policy and procedural changes within segmentation structures to produce optimal results. Job expectations include evaluating data to assess potential fraud risk and create mitigation strategies.

This role is responsible for assisting the workstream efforts of the FRCIS-SQL to FRCIS-SDP data migration efforts representing the Client Protection line of business as the Product Owner of the data sourcing scrum team. The job expectations include ensuring all required data is sourced appropriately on SDP, data is validated and ready for use. Will also be responsible for participating in multiple workgroups with varies technology and enterprise partners to discuss project related topics and gain consensus a method forward.

Key job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•Research the FRCIS-SQL and FRCIS-SDP data to determine if the required data is present on SDP, all required data elements are sourced, and data follows the approved architect control framework. Must ensure data is validated and ready for use.

•Participate in working sessions with the Client Protection gold team to ensure consensus on the targeted scope and to coordinate activities across the teams.

•Participate in multiple workgroups with varies technology and enterprise partners to discuss project related topics and gain consensus a method forward.

•Provide feedback to Product owner who will write deliverables, EPIC’s, and stories in Jira with multiple business partner inputs. Will also work with the project group and scrum team on grooming the acceptance criteria.

•Will participate in the scrum teams activities including prioritizing the stories, providing direction as needed, reviewing the completed work to determine the next steps, and validating new data sourcing to ensure data is fit for use.

  • Recommends ways to help the business achieve desired outcomes and make informed business decisions using data analysis outputs

  • Performs complex analysis of financial models, market data, financial data, and portfolio trends to understand product performance and improve portfolio risk, profitability, performance forecasting, and operational performance

  • Leads coordination of the production of product performance reports and updates for senior management

LOB Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with structured query language.

• 2+ years of experience with SAS analytics software and solutions.

• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Thrives in fast-paced and highly dynamic environment.

• Ability to communicate and interact with a high degree of professionalism with executive level personnel across the business.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a virtual team.

• Innovative mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo.

• Ability to proactively identify, analyze, and improve upon existing processes for optimization and to meet deadlines.

LOB Desired Qualifications :

• Experience with Python and Tableau

• Experience in data migration activities

• Experience in data management

• Experience working in Fraud and Claims; need to understand the end-to-end processes in claims and how the data moves.

• Experience in managing reporting and data initiatives.
