Avery Point is a beautiful 94-acre continuing care retirement community located just 15 minutes from downtown Richmond in Short Pump, Virginia. Erickson Senior Living is hiring a Recruiting Coordinator to provide community human resources support in the areas of recruitment, employee relations, and administration.

Compensation: starting at $50,000 per year.

Hrs. 8:30am – 5pm M-F, No Weekends.

How you will make an impact:

  • Serve as the primary recruiter for community positions during new community phase.

  • Writes and posts positions internally and externally.

  • Independently attends job fairs and other recruitment activities.

  • Identifies and recommends sourcing opportunities for prospective candidates.

  • Fields questions regarding employment at the community

  • Dispositions candidates in the applicant tracking system to ensure current activity is reflected.

  • Conducts interviews and coordinates additional campus/corporate interviews.

  • Conducts and documents reference checks and background screening on all prospective hires. Reviews results and any concerns with the human resources manager/director.

  • Schedules and administers new hire paperwork and processing with new hires, communicating with the new hire's throughout the process to ensure quality onboarding. Ensures new hire paperwork is accurate and timely.

  • Arranges travel and lodging for out-of-town applicants

  • Hires employees through HRIS

  • Schedules new employees and confirm new employee orientation workshop; provides reminders.

  • Conducts new hire surveys and exit interviews

  • Inputs information into HRIS and maintains employee electronic files.

  • Orders office supplies for the department

  • Works closely with corporate departments – benefits, HRMS, and payroll

  • Completes community audits

  • Coordinates community program logistics (including New Employee Orientation, All Staff).

  • Maintains employee bulletin boards

  • Assists HR Manager/ Director with investigations.

  • Facilitates Tuition Assistance, Worker’s Compensation, and Leaves of Absence management.

What you will need:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum of 2 years of Full Cycle recruitment experience is required.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
