Summary

IGT is seeking a Warehouse Associate in the area of Richmond, VA! This role performs work within an IGT Warehouse. As part of the warehouse and inventory team, it will move materials, parts and various IGT products using machinery and handheld equipment. This role is critical in the daily functions of this IGT team, supporting our lottery and gaming customers.

The hours are Monday-Friday 6am-3pm with some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Move raw materials and parts by using heavy and light machinery and handheld equipment

  • Work with SAP and other basic computer applications to document, maintain and enhance workflows

  • Support inventory management and stock incoming product

  • Maintain stock in work areas and ensure inventory accuracy

  • Handles materials in receiving, picking, shipping, and warehouse support

  • Performs problem solving and discrepancy investigation of inventory reports

  • Performs material movement activities using proper material handling techniques

  • Documents and transacts material movements accurately and on-time

  • Locates material in assigned area and transports as appropriate

Qualifications

Education Required (high school, college degree, training, or certifications requirements)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience Required (years of experience, specific industry or previous job experience requirements)

  • 2+ years of warehouse, shipping, receiving or general production related experience

Skills Required (software, technical, industry, equipment, lifting, and physical requirements)

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

  • A high degree of professionalism and work ethic coupled with a sense of responsibility and integrity

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and tight time constraints

  • Ability to work independently, but also partner as a team player

  • Basic computer and math skills required, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel preferred

  • Must be able to navigate folders/files on the company network and enter data into basic databases

  • Must be able to stand/walk a majority of the workday, bend and lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs

  • Must be able to reach material at or above shoulder height and have good dexterity

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with management level staff, suppliers, and customers

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $15.55 - $33.75. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
