Job Title: Business Professional - Claims Specialist 3

Expected duration: 12 months

Location: Ridgefield Park, NJ. M-TH In office, F - WFH

Summary:

The main function of the loan processor is to ensure timely, complete, and accurate packaging of all loans originated by loan officers.

Job Responsibilities:

 Gather information and take each file from pre-approval to closing.

 Verify loan documents including income credit appraisal and title insurance.

 Collect required documentation, review file documentation, and make sure all items needed are requested.

 Ensure that all loan documentation is complete, accurate, and complies with company policy.

 Establish, maintain, and update files, databases, records, and other documents for recurring internal reports.

 Act as a liaison between the borrower, underwriter, loan originator and lender.

 Contact and communicate with clients by telephone, e-mail, or in-person.

Skills:

 Basic knowledge in lending and the real estate industry.

 Excellent written and verbal communication.

 Strong attention to detail.

 Ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.

 Knowledge of basic accounting processes and procedures.

 Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Education/Experience:

 High school diploma or GED required.

 Bachelors degree in business or related field preferred.

 3-5 years experience required.

Key Notes and Attributes:

Collaborate with team members in the Product Safety department, PL Insurance Carrier, outside law firm and 3rd Party administrators.

Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports, with analysis and recommendations

Manage 4-7 ongoing and ad-hoc projects that may include KPIs and Metrics

Ensure that all projects have required documentation as they move through the project tollgates

Communicate to Product Liability leadership on project status and escalation/decision points

Works cross functionally with HQ teams in Korea (occasional evening conference call) and SEA operations to manage all possible risks.

Experience working with and influencing cross-functional teams.

Experience communicating with mid to top-level leaders (status reports, emails, presentations, F2F)

Experience working within the insurance and/or home appliance industry a plus

Experience with product development or testing a plus

Experience working in a complex and wide organization and department

Claims Adjuster License a plus

Takes project ownership and possess leadership qualities with an entrepreneurial approach

Explain reports and analysis to all levels of the organization
