Job Posting - Kitchen Cook for school district

Classification: Support Staff / Non-Exempt / Full Time

Responsibilities: To be involved with all food preparation, cooking, serving, and cleaning at both kitchen sites. To provide the highest quality of food and service to students, staff, and visitors at all times. See Job Description for a complete list of duties and requirements.

Qualifications: Required: High School Diploma or GED Knowledge of food preparation and proper food handling practices Ability to work independently and in team situations

Preferred: Experience working in a commercial kitchen Excellent oral and written skills, attention to detail, organization skills, ability to perform math, bookkeeping tasks, and ability to perform basic computer skills

Start Date: At Once

Work Schedule: 9-month position (Follows school calendar) Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Salary: $15/hour
