As a Staff Account Your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Accurately and efficiently process accounting related information into the ERP system

• Maintain the General Ledger Accounts and associated Statements, Records, and Files

• Conduct reconciliations of both Bank and Ledger Accounts, and prepare Journal Entries

• Monitor and analyze financial statement activity, reporting on variances vs. budget

• Conduct reviews of financial statements to ensure accuracy and legal compliance

• Assist in the organization and updating of financial records and accounting procedures

• Support the administration of Sales Tax, tax filings, and compliance

• Propose ways to enhance the efficiency of the closing process

• Prepare necessary documentation for external reviews

• Assemble job costing and calculate various benchmarks to ensure accuracy within company guidelines

• Assist the Controller with special projects and audits as required.

Requirements

The Ideal Staff Accountant will meet the following Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is required.

• Strong understanding of General Ledger and Journal Entries.

• Ability to handle Month End Close processes efficiently.

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP software is crucial.

• Experience with General Ledger System is essential.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
