City Of Rifle Event Center Bartender/Server in Rifle, Colorado

Job Summary:

Serves alcoholic, nonalcoholic beverages, snacks and food to Ute Events Center guests in a professional, responsible manner and ensures they have a great experience when attending an event at the Ute. Responsible for positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages in a friendly and efficient manner. Provides guests with responsible alcohol service while delivering exceptional customer service.

Experience and Training:

Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Training in Responsible Serving of Alcohol as described in Rifle Municipal Code, or ability to obtain such training at the first opportunity offered in Rifle.

Job Requirements: Valid Colorado Driver's License or ability to obtain within six months of hire. Must be 18 years of age if serving alcohol. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays. Able to pass a background check with acceptable results to the City of Rifle.

Work Experience in Positions Similar or Related to This Job: At least 2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or the service industry is preferred, or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.

This is a permanent part-time position with no benefits. The wage for this position is $15.86-$17.20 (plus tips), depending on experience and qualifications. This position is open until filled. City of Rifle is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
