They will lead a team of IT professionals and collaborate closely with other departments to identify technology needs, implement solutions, and optimize IT operations to maximize productivity and efficiency. Responsibilities Infrastructure Managementa Oversee the maintenance of the company\'s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and communication systems. Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of IT systems to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations. Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to meet the organization\'s evolving needs. Team Leadership Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including helpdesk administrators, collaborate with manufacturing engineers, and support staff. Set clear goals and objectives for the IT team, monitor performance, and provide guidance and support as needed. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to encourage teamwork and professional development. Vendor Management Manage relationships with third-party vendors, service providers, and contractors to ensure the timely delivery of IT services and support. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to make informed decisions regarding technology partnerships and investments. Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor\'s degree in information technology, computer science, or another related field is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. At least 7 years of experience in IT management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Skills and Abilities: Strong team leader, with proven ability to cultivate high performing teams and facilitate organizational growth of high performing team members Proven track record of successfully managing complex infrastructure projects. Ability to manage multiple demands simultaneously, prioritize with alignment to organizational goals and objectives and build consensus among conflicting priorities. Strong knowledge of IT security principles and practices, with experience implementing security controls and protocols.
