Schedule: Full Time

Shift : 4 days 10 hour shifts

The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Riverview

· AdventHealth is expanding our medical expertise, innovation, and state-of-the-art technology to southern Hillsborough County through a brand-new hospital in Riverview, which is scheduled to open in 2024.

· The new AdventHealth Riverview hospital will include 82 beds at time of opening with space to expand to 202 beds in the future.

· This $250 million project in Riverview also includes a 100,000 square foot, four-story Medical Office Building that will provide community members convenient access to expert care.

· AdventHealth Riverview will offer a wide range of health care services which includes emergency, cardiovascular, digestive, urology, orthopedic and women’s care.

The role you’ll contribute:

A Registered Nurse is essential to the effectiveness of both cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs. The RN will be responsible for patient care to include, but not limited to, telemetry monitoring, recording of vital signs, management of medical problems and emergencies, education and counseling. Also, this person will assist in the development and management of program policy and procedures.

· Acquires the necessary credits to maintain a valid license

· Addresses patient/family education needs

· Assist with outcome projects

· Assures patient privacy and maintains confidentiality

· Attends appropriate departmental meetings

· Develops realistic goal-directed rehabilitation plans

· Executes routine rehab prescriptions according to policy

· Is knowledgeable about emergency procedures and crash cart

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

· Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

· Minimum 3-5 years clinical experience

· BLS

· ACLS

· State of Florida License in Registered Nurse
