Shift Hours: Monday - Friday: 7:00AM - 3:30PM

Responsibilities - Lab Medical Asst II:

• Responsible for collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing.

• Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens, referring specimens to outside laboratories, interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests, performance of phlebotomy procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Credentials:

• Essential - Driver's License

• Required - 6 months - Phlebotomy

• Or, 6 months - Laboratory Related

• Or, 6 months - Related Field

Education:

• Required - High School or Equivalent

• Or, Bachelors in related field in lieu of experience
