Job Description:

The Walsh Group is currently seeking experienced Laborers for our construction team in Plainfield, IL. As a Laborer, you will perform all tasks related to the installation of concrete foundations and other duties as assigned.

This opportunity offers full-time hours with competitive pay.

Job Responsibilities:

· Loading and unloading trucks by hand or using heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, etc.

· Moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

· Performing manual labor to assist skilled craft workers.

· Mixing cement and water to make mortar.

· Finishing and repairing cracks in poured concrete floors, walls, and sidewalks.

· Leveling uneven surfaces with sand, gravel, or other materials.

· Operating pneumatic tools and hoses to clean debris from pours and molds.

Job Qualifications:

· Previous experience working on a construction site preferred.

· High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

· Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. regularly.

· Ability to operate basic construction equipment.

· Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions.

· Ability to work well with others.

· Ability to communicate effectively via phone and email.
