This position ensures compliance of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the American with Disabilities Act requirements and other appropriate state and federal laws, regulations and statutes pertaining to higher education and disability. Serve as chief university advocate for students with disabilities with faculty and staff. Develop and implement policies and procedures which ensure compliance for working with students, managers, and employees in meeting the identified needs. Oversees the development and operations of the OU Testing Center to ensure compliance to all mandated guidelines and policies, including safety and security procedures to protect academic integrity.
