Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Paid Time Off Vision Insurance Basic Life Insurance Tuition Reimbursement Employer Paid Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability Adoption Assistance Plan Qualifications: BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required Five years previous experience required CPA designation preferred Healthcare experience preferred Job Responsibilities: Selects, trains/orientates, and assigns department staff for the General Ledger functions. Develops standards of performance, evaluates performance, and initiates or makes recommendations for personnel actions. Develops department goals and objectives; establishes and implements policies and procedures for department operations. Responsible for the monthly financial statement preparation, including OMC, OMC Regional Foundation, BOT/Finance Committee, and OMC Retail Services. Maintains overall integrity of the General Ledger. Responsible for compiling third-party compliance reporting information. Responsible for the non-wage expense and non-department revenue sections of the budget process. Assists the controller with financial analysis projects. Responsible for compiling the IRS OMC and OMC Regional Foundation 990 tax returns. Member of various permanent and ad hoc committees as appointed. Performs bank transfer of funds. Works with external audit staff and prepares audit work-papers for the annual audit. Performs system evaluations as needed. Other duties as assigned.
