The Mayo Clinic Adult Transitions programs utilizes evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive and Behavioral Interventions, Mindfulness, and Life Skills training to help patients who are recovering from significant mental health crisis to return to a full, active life. The Adult Transitions Program at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN has an opportunity for a Master’s Level Psychologist (MS or MA, LP) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our team. The LP or LPCC is responsible for providing psychological services including assessment, evidence-based therapy in individual and group format, psychoeducation groups, and consultation in an intensive outpatient program for adults with significant depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, or personality disorders. This role is part of a multidisciplinary team, complies with required standards for medical/legal responsibilities, and serves as a resource to other allied health and administrative staff within the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology.

Qualifications

Master's degree in psychology or counseling from an accredited college or university. Training and experience with evidence based assessment and treatment with cognitive behavior therapy background preferred. Strong background and experience in individual and group therapy. Excellent communication and human relation skills. Public speaking skills to conduct effective lectures, workshops, and in-service training programs. Intermediate personal computer skills to allow proficient use of commercial software, word processing, statistical, and database programs. Leadership skills and abilities

Licensed Psychologist (LP) by the Minnesota Board of Psychology, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) by the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy.

$74,859 - $112,195 / year; Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
