Job Description:

The ACE Unit Companion plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being of patients by closely monitoring them to prevent injury or self-harm. This role includes engaging patients in therapeutic activities to promote cognitive stimulation and emotional well-being, while also implementing fall prevention strategies tailored to the specific needs of elderly patients. By providing continuous observation and support, the Ace Companion helps create a safer environment that enhances both the physical and emotional health of the patients.

Must be present for mandatory orientation taking place January 9th & 10th 2025

PAY SCALE: $17-$21.58

*The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED; it is preferred that the candidate is enrolled in college, preferably with a nursing or other healthcare major. 6 months of previous work experience in a customer service or health care setting preferred. No clinical experience required.
