Description

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Rochester invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in any area of chemistry. The successful applicant will be expected to develope an independent, vibrant, externally funded research program and to teach on the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Salary: $95,000 – 103,000. The referenced pay range represents the full base range of pay for this job. Individual salaries will be determined within this job’s salary range and established based on market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and internal equity consideration.

Qualifications

We seek candidates holding a PhD or equivalent degree. Successful applicants typically also have postdoctoral research experience.
