STATUS: Full Time
LOCATION: Unity Hospital
DEPARTMENT: Pharmacy-Emergency Department
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, Day shift
ATTRIBUTES
- Completion of residency
OR
Fellowship training
OR
Board certification through the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties. The employee may be working towards board certification as part of a timeline mutually agreed upon by the employee and supervisor - Current New York State License required
- Possess a broad scope and depth of emergency medicine knowledge, clinical skills and function well on multidisciplinary teams
- Experience as Emergency Room Pharmacist preferred
- Medication Management. Provides pharmacotherapy expertise in emergency medication to optimize patient care
- Training. Provide didactic and experiential training for Pharmacy Students, Pharmacy Residents, and other health care providers
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration. Work in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams across the health system.
EDUCATION:
- PharmD
- BS: Pharmacy
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- LPharm - Licensed Pharmacist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
