Job Summary: Delphi Rise is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Coordinator to join our growing team. The Finance Coordinator will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and supporting the financial planning and budgeting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance or accounting, experience with and a passion for nonprofit work, and a commitment to our mission.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned) 1.Financial Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and maintain financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements. Ensure that all financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and properly documented. 2.Budget Management: Assist in the development of the annual budget. Monitor budget performance, track spending, and analyze variances between actual and budgeted figures. Support department heads in understanding and managing their budgets. 3.Supervise Invoice and Payment Processing: Oversee the processing and recording of all incoming and outgoing payments, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and promptly. Manage the AR/AP staff, providing guidance and support in handling the issuance and receipt of invoices, while maintaining detailed financial records. Ensure regular account reconciliations are performed, addressing and resolving any discrepancies or inconsistencies that arise. Work closely with vendors, contractors, and external partners on financial matters. 4.Grant Management Support: Track and report on grant spending, ensuring compliance with grant terms and conditions. Assist in the preparation of financial reports for grantors. Monitor deadlines for financial reporting related to grants. 5.Payroll Processing: Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Provide backup as needed. Maintain payroll records and assist with the administration of employee benefits. 6.Audit Preparation & Compliance: Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits. Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with financial policies and procedures. Maintain records and documentation required for audits.

Supervisory: Provide administrative supervision of Bookkeeper Supervisory Responsibilities: This positions supervisory responsibilities include oversight of recruiting; interviewing; making hiring recommendations; making hiring decisions; instructing and training in work methods; assigning work; planning and scheduling work; checking and approving work; conducting performance evaluations; recommending salary adjustments.

Minimum Qualification Standards: Bachelors Degree in Accounting OR Associates Degree with at least three years accounting experience A minimum of two years of related experience in a government funded, nonprofit environment
