The Finance & Operations Coordinator plays an important role on our diverse team, supporting work that fosters positive change within nonprofit organizations and the community. The Finance & Operations Coordinator will collaborate with Causewave staff, nonprofit partners, and outside resources to accomplish shared goals. The ideal candidate will be someone who wants to make a real difference in the community by applying their experience on behalf of a dynamic, growing organization.

What were looking for in a Finance & Operations Coordinator: The Finance & Operations Coordinator should have experience with and ability to:

Finance responsibilities: Partner with the Director of Finance & Administration in the execution of the organizations accounting policies, procedures, and internal control activities Receive and process payments to the organization Assist in performing monthly close procedures

Operations/Office management responsibilities: Be the glue that bonds the Causewave team together. Work closely with the entire Causewave team, to keep everyone well-informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities on internal projects, following up appropriately for maximum organizational efficiency Partner with the Director of Finance on teambuilding and human resources activities Manage contracts and invoices with vendors Manage inventories of office supplies and equipment; prepare and submit orders for purchase. Coordinate onboarding and training process for new employees Participate as needed on internal projects. Learn and leverage multiple online systems and tools to support the mission work as needed

Preferred experience for the role: Minimum 2 years of professional experience (internships count) Financial acumen - comfortable with spreadsheets and numbers Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Adept at managing multiple priorities Strong customer service orientation Strong desire to make the world a better place Bachelors degree OR equivalent experience
