$165,000 - $170,000

Description

The Department of Pediatrics, Division of General Pediatrics is recruiting a full-time Pediatric faculty at an Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our vibrant, multi-disciplinary team as a provider in with the Golisano Children’s Hospital Pediatric Practice (GCHPP).

Patient Care

The Golisano Children’s Hospital Pediatric Practice (GCHPP), a designated Patient -Centered Medical Home, cares for over 13,000 patients utilizing a team-based care model. The General Pediatrician will provide comprehensive and compassionate care for all patients, including those within Rochester’s medically underserved community. The candidate will work closely with teams of advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, care coordinators and support staff delivering care to GCHPP patients.

The General Pediatrician will have the opportunity to serve on a variety of committees within the University and is expected to uphold the University’s ICARE values, Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.

Qualifications

As a General Pediatrician, qualifications are as follows:

· Successful candidates will have outstanding pediatric accomplishment and promise, and a commitment to the mission of Golisano Children’s Hospital.

· Desire to teach and supervise patient care of assigned medical students, residents and fellows.

· NYS license and DEA certification required prior to granting privileges at GCHPP.

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience, and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
