Jacobs Junior Engineer - Construction (Albion, NY) in Rochester, New York

We are looking for a driven Junior Engineer to grow with our team in Albion, NY.  In this role, to work on multiple fast-moving projects and larger, long-scheduled projects. We’ll rely on you to provide support to our teams while fostering a culture of continuous learning as you bring fresh ideas to the table. Working closely with your construction project manager, you’ll be immersed in both project design and compliance as well as site construction and evaluation. You’ll work with the best Engineers and Project Managers in the business, as well as gain experience working directly with project contractors.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Construction, Engineering or related field

  • 0-2 years of experience working on construction or civil projects valued above $1 million

  • Basic knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document review, basic scheduling techniques, payment review, and preparation

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

  • Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components

  • Previous experience with direct customer service and/or client focused environment
