The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities:

Performs research laboratory assignments, routine and limited in nature, in accordance with established practices and procedures.Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: Performs research laboratory assignments, routine and limited in nature, in accordance with established practices and procedures. SUPERVISION AND DIRECTION EXERCISED: None. MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT USED: Basic laboratory equipment, apparatus and tools such as microscopes, balances, centrifuges, calorimeters, etc. TYPICAL DUTIES: - Performs laboratory tests, analyses and observations, routine in nature, straight forward and clear cut; operates simple equipment and tools properly and efficiently. - Performs calculations from given formulae; records and submits results. - Prepares basic laboratory solutions and media according to directions. - May perform clerical duties such as typing, posting data, duplicating, collating, etc. - May perform specialized duties in process or service laboratories, such as photography/illustration functions. QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduation with courses in sciences and mathematics; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Schedule 7 AM-9 PM
