Compensation Range:

$19.96 - $27.94

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

A full-time position (40hrs/wk) in Pediatric Infectious Diseases to assist in the conduct of pediatric clinical research, including COVID-19 vaccination studies in children. In particular, this individual will be responsible for recruitment and enrollment into clinical trials under the direction of the Principal Investigator and Health Project Coordinator. This individual will screen and recruit potential study candidates, perform interviews, collect data and specimens, review charts, monitor study subjects to ensure protocol compliance, and complete data entry. This person must work well as part of a team, be able to complete project tasks independently as requested, be comfortable with a variety of data bases, and at all times demonstrate the ability to interact in a professional and positive manner in both verbal and written communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Screen and recruit study subjects, including interviews and medical chart review to ensure enrollment criteria are met.

  • Conduct study visits with subjects, including obtaining informed consent.

  • Ensure patient compliance with the study protocol and completion of source documents, eCRFs, and follow up phone calls. Data QC to ensure data accuracy and answering study queries.

  • Attending team meetings and completing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required

  • 2-3 years specialized experience in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Flexible in approach and appreciates the demands of a fast-paced, constantly evolving project.
