SUMMARY

The Logistics Coordinator is accountable for departmental operations in the absence of the department leadership. The Logistics Coordinator will have diverse responsibilities in areas of data input, dispatching and tracking, information management, scheduling, training, and quality assurance/performance improvement.

STATUS: Full Time

LOCATION: Riedman Campus & Elmgrove Park

DEPARTMENT: Logistics

SCHEDULE: Day/Evening

ATTRIBUTES
  • Teaching/training/coaching experience preferred
  • One (1) year dispatching/scheduling preferred
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Two (2) years of experience in logistics, operations, coordinator, or lead role
  • NYS Drivers License
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate. Work with supervisors and manager on route development and departmental procedures and policies, analyze dispatch data and update route sheets as needed
  • Train. Advise Lab Couriers and other Coordinator(s) to ensure compliance with department policies and procedures, ide along with staff to ensure performance and procedure, provide day-to-day Courier communication and feedback to Leadership
  • Scheduling. Maintain accurate attendance logs and Paid Time off (PTO) requests, monitor absences and attendance patterns to provide for leadership review, maintain appropriate staff, equipment and supplies for the scheduled hours of operation at each location
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE: $18.75 - $19.50

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
