SUMMARY
The LPN I is responsible for providing direct patient care, usually under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Provider, in accordance with established plans. The LPN maintains quality patient care through consistent standards of nursing practice in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. The LPN is instrumental in providing an exceptional experience for patient and family.

STATUS: Per Diem
LOCATION: flu clinics, local RRH hospitals
DEPARTMENT: Employee Health
SCHEDULE: Days

1 year of experience preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assists in the implementation of the patient's treatment plan under the direction of an RN or provider
• Provides routine nursing services for patients as directed by RN or provider
• Complies with the evaluation, treatment and documentation requirements of the department
• Completes required documentation in an accurate and timely manner
• Provides regular patient status updates to appropriate personnel
• Attends and participates in department/facility meetings as required
• Acts in compliance with hospital, regulatory and professional standards and policies
• Maintains clinical competency by pursuing continuing education opportunities
• Performs other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)
PAY RANGE: $23.75 - $29.75

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
