Job Description:

*Highland Hospital is seeking a Full Time LPN to join its Ambulatory Care Unit (Geriatrics and Medicine Associates-GAMA). Candidates for this role will work Monday - Friday, Days between the hours of 8a - 5p.

Some duties include but are not limited to:

LPN responsible for much of the direct patient care services. This includes, but is not limited to weight, height, blood pressure, vision screening, minor lab procedures, and wound care. LPN will help monitor and maintain a consistent patient flow from the waiting room to the exam rooms. Maintains cleanliness of exam rooms as well as keeping them stocked of supplies.

Salary Range:

$25.79 - $ 33.20 an hour

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Job Requirements:

  1. Education: Fulfills educational requirements to practice as an LPN in NYS

  2. Experience: Previous LPN experience in a primary care setting preferred.

  3. License/Certification Required: Licensed to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State; BLS required (American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare providers or American Red Cross CPR for professional Healthcare providers)

  4. Skills: Obtain VS, Room Patients, Perform Minor Laboratory Procedures, Assist the Providers as necessary, administer Immunizations, and phone triage
