Trillium Health NY Marketing & Communications Coordinator in Rochester, New York

Trillium Health is a community health center in downtown Rochester that provides high-quality healthcare and supportive services to everyone regardless of their ability to pay. We are looking for a versatile and skilled Marketing & Communications Coordinator to enhance our marketing and communication efforts. This role involves creating and managing a variety of content, from digital materials to print, and supporting our overall marketing strategy.

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator’s responsibilities include designing digital content, crafting internal emails, writing blog posts, enhancing PowerPoint presentations, capturing event photos and videos, designing print materials, assisting with social media, and supporting general marketing and communications needs.

    Marketing & Design

  • Business Cards: Design and update business cards to reflect our brand identity.

  • PowerPoint Presentations : Enhance PowerPoint presentations to effectively communicate key messages.

  • Internal Graphics: Create engaging graphics for internal emails and digital displays, ensuring brand consistency.

    Print & Digital

  • Rack Cards : Distribute, monitor, and restock rack cards to ensure availability and visibility. Revise files as needed.

  • Internal Signage: Design and distribute signage across our facilities (e.g. modified hours, wayfinding).

  • Procurement : Enter print-related transactions into purchasing software and work with print vendors to ensure that accurate files are sent for production.

    Writing

  • Internal Emails: Draft clear and concise internal emails to facilitate smooth communication.

  • Blog Posts: Write blog posts that align with our company’s voice and objectives.

  • Editorial Support: Assist staff with written materials, including proofreading and editing.

    Social Media

  • Content Creation: Develop and create content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, and Reddit.

  • Editorial Planning: Assist with maintaining an editorial calendar and create social media content for key observances and events.

  • Platform Expertise: Utilize a deep understanding of social media platforms to optimize content and engagement.

  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on social media trends and new platforms to keep our strategies effective.

    Photo & Video

  • Event Coverage: Attend events to capture high-quality photos and videos for marketing materials and social media.

  • Multimedia Content : Create engaging Reels and other multimedia content to boost our online presence.

    Miscellaneous

  • Marketing Materials: Distribute marketing materials to staff upon request.

  • Material Delivery: Deliver materials to satellite offices as required.

  • Event Support : Assist with the coordination and execution of events.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field required.

  • Proven experience in marketing, design, content creation, and social media management.

  • Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva) and presentation software (e.g., Microsoft Word and PowerPoint).

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Strong familiarity with social media platforms and trends.

  • Experience with photo and video editing.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.

  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

  • This is an in-person position.

    Physical Requirements

    While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to stand, sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Occasionally the employee must stoop, bend and lift or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
