The Pharmacy Supervisor is responsible for coordination of the Pharmacy Department in accordance with the established policies and procedures of Rochester Regional Health System.
STATUS: Full Time
LOCATION: St. Mary's Campus
DEPARTMENT: Pharmacy
SCHEDULE: Day/Evening
ATTRIBUTES
- Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree required
- Current New York State Pharmacist License required
- Demonstrated ability to lead and shape team members within the department
- Ability to communicate clearly in oral and written form
- Extensive knowledge of drug products, medical therapeutics, pharmacokinetics, and disease states
- Responsible for scheduling pharmacy staff in accordance with departmental needs and scheduling standards
- Acts daily to identify staffing concerns and workload issues or policy questions and ensures that the appropriate staff is working on resolution or finding appropriate answers. Reaches out to upper leadership as needed for further resolution.
- Assists in the development and implementation of changes in departmental operations to improve performance within the pharmacy department working in conjunction with leadership team
- Responsible for direct reports, monthly rounding, yearly performance appraisals, etc.
- Maintain liaison relationship with other departments, providing necessary and timely information pertaining to pharmaceutical supplies, drug usage, compatibilities, state and federal regulations regarding drug controls, and other regulatory standards
EDUCATION:
- BS: Pharmacy (Required)
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- LPharm - Licensed Pharmacist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
