An industry-leading high-precision component manufacturer is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team near Rochester, New York. This company has been established for over 70 years with customers in the Aerospace, Defense, and medical device industries. This position works with customers and fellow departments to develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying products and production methods.

The salary is commensurate with experience up to $90K plus excellent health & retirement benefits. All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

responsibilities:

• Support manufacturing in productivity and quality improvements

• Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods, and establishing standards.

• Develop and maintain manufacturing process flows.

• Experience in Tooling, Fixturing, and Gaging.

• CAD (Fixtures, Prints, and Models)

• Optimize processing capabilities through the use of continuous improvement principles

• Assist in the development (design and machine) of new/existing features.

• Support Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action determination

• Blue Print Reading and GD&T Understanding
