PathStone Corporation Program Manager - CSBG in Rochester, New York

Summary Purpose for the Position

Provides leadership, support, quality control including program monitoring, and public relations for New York Operations. Initiates program and project development and planning, and serves as Community Action Agency liaison for the division and other staff.

Requirements (Education, Experience, Certification, Knowledge, Skill)

Position requires 4 to 6 years of education or training and/or experience in grants and/or program development and administration in Human Services or a related social science or business field. Must have computer expertise, including research, word processing and spreadsheet utilization.

Position Responsibilities

Position requires expert communication skills including investigative, interpretative, persuasion, and negotiation skills. Candidate must have the ability to research and analyze information from a variety of sources for utilization in developing projects and processes that impact the entire division.

Responsibilities include

Develops knowledge base required to effectively operate CSBG programs and optimize impact in Direct Services communities.

Serves as the liaison between PathStone Direct Services, New York State CSBG and other service agencies for collaborative grant and project efforts.

Submits required data and reports for project grants/contracts in a timely manner.

Interprets, analyzes and complies with grant regulations and requirements, including Triennial Review for Accountability and Compliance with Standards (TRACS), Annual Compliance Review of Organizational Standards (ACROS), and Community Needs Assessments.

Disseminates program information to community and service agencies on the local and state levels.

Develops, analyzes, and ensures achievement of project/grant goals and objectives.

Works cooperatively with staff and management team to accomplish project and grant goals.

Meets regularly with Sr. Director concerning program/project development, planning, fidelity, monitoring, and continuous improvement; and budget management per plan.

Builds working relationships to facilitate Results Oriented Management and Accountability (ROMA) implementation and achieve common goals.

Coordinates Program Area Advisory Committee PAAC information, resources and engagement.

Other assignments as directed.

Working Conditions/Environment

Requires flexible work hours, including nights and weekends and exposure to computer video display screen.

Routine utilization of computers and stress related to deadlines.

Promotes cooperation and a welcoming environment for all; uses safety in work place as well as when performing activities outside of office.

Transportation Requirement

Position requires automobile, driver’s license and insurance.
