Position Objective

Monitoring product quality by performing tests to support marketed and pre-marketed product formulations in accordance with SOPs and regulations.

Responsibilities

Performs lab bench microbiological tests and data analysis per department SOPs.

Perform regimen testing, data analysis, and technical support on R&D lenses and solutions for FDA submission.

Write Central File Reports (CFRs) for FDNISO submissions.

Perform microbiological harvesting and standardizing using a spectrophotometer for use in testing.

Perform simulated In-Use testing for Vision Care and Pharma projects Reviews and approves testing data.

Generate protocols, Experimental Action Plans, and Standard Operating procedures. Provides technical support for making documentation changes to SOPs and related forms.

Uses laboratory management systems to support Microbiology department testing administration and documentation.

Maintains a safe and compliant work environment by following standards, procedures and company regulations.

Maintains on the job knowledge and skills by participating in applicable training.

Requirements

B.S. degree with 0-3 vears of relevant experience or M.S. degree with 0-2 vears of relevant experience.

Experience in performing microbiological bench testing.

In-depth knowledge of quality ISO standards and general laboratory GMPs as well as laboratory techniques such as pipetting, aseptic technique, good documentation practices.

Good organization skills and ability to multitask.

Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively on teams, including project teams.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting pay for this role is between $55,000.00 and $85,000.00. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives. They may also be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, disability and life insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, a tuition reimbursement program (select degrees), company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive sick time, floating holidays and paid vacation.
