The Department of Psychiatry, a department of the University of Rochester, is recruiting a Child & Adolescent psychologist. We encourage applicants with leadership skills, teaching and research interests to apply.

Requirements:

· PhD or doctoral equivalent in psychology, licensed in the state of New York, with experience in health/clinical psychology and application to Child & Adolescents.

· Must obtain NYS licensure prior to start.

Candidates applying to this position will be asked tto complete a post-offer health assessment and drug test at the University’s Employee Health department at least one month prior to start.

The role includes providing coverage as needed within the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division Services, including inpatient, pediatric consultation/liaison, CPEP, urgent care, and phone coverage for ambulatory and partial hospital services at scheduled intervals as part of the on-call team and ad-hoc vacation coverage for the same services. Duties may include providing counseling/therapy services, assisting with the evaluation and treatment planning of patients in the settings covered and providing coaching to residents and Child and Adolescent post-doctoral psychology fellows who are part of our multidisciplinary team.

This practice location is currently using the EPIC electronic medical records system and training will be provided.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements include PhD or doctoral equivalent in Psychology in an APA-accredited program, successful completion of an APA-accredited internship, postdoctoral training in child and adolescent psychology, and licensure in the state of New York as a psychologist.

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process
