Job Summary:
Reporting to the Training and Tools Manager, the Training and Content Development Specialist is a client-facing role critical to our client onboarding process. The person in this role must be able to engage clients positively and professionally, work in a team environment, and have effective communication skills with clients and fellow employees. The job responsibilities include scheduling and leading clients through the training process, ensuring that they understand how to utilize the software to manage their operations. Additional job responsibilities include providing input and consultation on the creation of learning assets for clients.
Additional job duties include:
•Work closely with the training team in the creation of learning assets
•Assist other department members in their learning asset creation process
•Support internal learning content creation and delivery for CaterTrax employees
•Identify opportunities for new business and custom/revenue-generating services
•Develop custom learning solutions that meet client needs
•Review and contribute to online Knowledgebase articles and content\
This is a hybrid role, located in Rochester, NY.
Job Description:
Facilitate client training sessions
Call and schedule clients into training sessions
Facilitate positive and engaging training sessions that are interactive between facilitator and client
Assess and address the learning gaps of attendees in training sessions
Manage multiple client requests and multiple training scenarios
Expand educational offerings beyond initial training
Analyze client data to understand site usage after go-live dates
Identify client strengths and weaknesses and highlight education opportunities to address any gaps
Proactively review custom education services to broaden awareness of our offerings to assist in achieving custom education services revenue targets
Create positive learning experiences
Deliver a positive can-do mentality in a professional environment that is responsive to client requests by email and phone
Provide a world class experience with every interaction exceeding client expectations by finding solutions to client questions and requests
Serve as clients’ point of contact to manage training requests and respond to requests in a timely manner
Actively listen and identify potential opportunities for new business
Consult on the creation of learning assets for clients and internal CaterTrax users
Work with the training manager and other team members to help with the creation client facing learning assets
Support the education team with the creation of user guides and video tutorials
Review learning assets, provide feedback and design recommendations to the education team
Contribute content and feedback for online Knowledgebase
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work as a team to identify client training gaps in learning
The ability to move within the organization when needed to assist other areas
Work collectively in the developing curriculum
Provide recommendations to improve process and client experience
Work as a team communicating throughout the day
Responding to client requests by email and phone
Participates in team meetings, understands team priorities, and offers suggestions/solutions for process improvements.
Supports the Education Team in the creation of resource materials.
Remains current on industry news, technologies and any legislative issues that may impact company products and services.
Forwards recommendations for product or development leads to the CaterTrax Sales team.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Provides thought leadership for learning & development for all departments. Stay current on key trends and best practices.
EXPERIENCE:
Operational knowledge of CaterTrax is preferred
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar role is preferred
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent communication skills, ability to deal with clients and employees at all levels
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in fast-paced dynamic environment
Strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, O utlook, etc.
Experience in graphic design and content creation is preferred
EDUCATION
Associate’s degree or higher is required
COMPENSATION
47-53k annually, dependent on experience
