Ambrell Corporation Vice President of Global Sales in Rochester, New York

Position OverviewThe VP of Global Sales is responsible for maximizing revenue by optimizing a sales channel comprised of Regionals Sales Managers, Sales Representatives, and Distributors. This includes driving the development of account plans, closely monitoring daily work activity, challenging and assuring sales pipeline data, and reporting progress to senior management. Overall success is achieved by following inTEST’s 5-point growth strategy, including market and geographic expansion, new product development, strategic partnerships, enhanced service and support, and talent development. This position serves as a key member of the Ambrell senior leadership team, helping to form the overall strategy of the organization. Responsibilities: •Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company bookings and revenue targets and expand market share.•Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals.•Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners to drive sales opportunities and maximize customer satisfaction.•Identify new business opportunities and market segments for expansion, working closely with the marketing and product development teams.•Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform decision-making and optimize sales strategies.•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Support efforts.•Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness and generate leads.•Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to track progress and drive accountability.•Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the market.Qualifications:•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.•Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the industrial equipment manufacturing sector.•Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic sales plans, achieving revenue targets, and building high-performing sales teams.•Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility with customers and internal stakeholders.•Proven ability to analyze complex market data and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.•Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving continuous improvement.•Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (>50%).Base Pay Range: $160,000 to $180,000Ambrell Corporation is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions without regard to race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, protected veteran status or other characteristics protected by law.
